Carol Macharia

Carol Macharia is a Certified Public Accountant with a wealth of experience as a Programme Finance Analyst in the United Nations and Non-Governmental Organizations. During her career, she has provided expertise services in result-based budgeting and financial management.

She has supported numerous programmes and projects funded by donors and development partners such as USAID, EU, DFID, SIDA, DANIDA, SWISS and Norwegian government, inter-agency partnerships with UNDP, UN Women, UNICEF, UNCDF, WFP and Habitat. She is versatile and self-driven and a result oriented individual, with demonstrated skill in handling multiple project grants and budgets, has great analytical skills and a good eye for detail. Carol works well with people of diverse cultures and possesses great interpersonal skills. She makes sound decisions and is an effective communicator.
