Acting Treasurer

Mr. Kigika, an Actuarial Scientist from Kabarak University, is a data-driven education and community development professional committed to advancing equitable access to education and youth empowerment in marginalized communities in Northern Kenya. He brings multidisciplinary experience across governance, safeguarding, leadership development, and impact measurement, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based decision-making through qualitative and quantitative analysis.

He is an outstanding alumnus of the Kennedy–Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program and continues to contribute to local and international development initiatives. Mr. Kigika has been actively involved in safeguarding programs in urban Nairobi and rural Maralal in Samburu County, supporting the protection and well-being of vulnerable populations in underserved regions.

He serves on the Board of LIFE Org (Leading Initiative for Education), a community-based organization in Meru County focused on mental health advocacy and youth capacity building within universities. He is also a pioneer of the LEAD Program (Leadership in Entrepreneurship and Academic Development), which equips university students with essential soft skills and connects them to practical solutions for professional growth. Additionally, Mr. Kigika is engaged in the Social Action, Advocacy, and Governance Ministry at Christ Is The Answer Ministries (CITAM), contributing to civic engagement, policy dialogue, and public participation processes.

Mr. Kigika currently serves as the Acting Treasurer of the organization, where he provides financial oversight and quality assurance to support accountability, sustainability, and impact-driven programming.
